NARAM 65 News
With the contributions of several club members PSC won big at NARAM 65. The Stokker family, Alan and Maddie, competed in C and A Divisions respectively. With their strong performance across the slate of NARAM events Alan emerged as the C Division National Champion, and Maddie as Reserve A Division Champion. Congratulations, and nice work guys!
In D Division, the G-Force team (Brian Muzek and Sean Guzek) also flew with consistent performance, placing 2nd in the 1/2A Helicopter Duration and C Super-Roc Duration events, and 3rd in the A Rocket Glider and B Egg Loft Altitude events.
Meanwhile, The Flying I-Beam Kids (Rod Schafer, Steve Foster, and John Brohm) finished first in B Egg Loft and in A Rocket Glider; these results, plus their first-place win in D Division Giant Sport Scale, was enough to push the team into first overall as the NAR’s Team Division National Champions for the 2024 contest year.
As a Club/Section, PSC’s active membership participation in NRC flight activities during the year, combined with PSC’s performance at NARAM, enabled PSC to accumulate enough points to finish as the Reserve Section of the Year, finishing second just behind WOOSH Section #558 in Wisconsin by only seven points!
All of this is a great result for PSC – congratulations to all PSC members for your passion, participation and contribution this past contest year!
